| Hello HCL Family and welcome to the beginning of the 2022-23 Ringette season! The Board of Directors has been working hard over the summer to get ready for the upcoming season and we are almost ready to begin. Here are some things you should know: Over the next week you will notice our website will change over to RAMP. We are excited to start on this new venture and to follow the lead of Ringete Canada, Ringette Nova Scotia and Central Region Ringette League. Our RAMP system allows us to better streamline our registration, provides us with a App for each team (no more TeamSnap) and has better functionality to allow online registration for extra clinics....and it resulted in an overall cost savings to the Association. We were happy to work with the other associations to move forward with this improved system. Registration will be open shortly. Our intent is to start September off strong with Back On Blades for U10-U19, with Balancing and Tryouts to follow. All teams will be selected by October 3rd. Our U7/U9 ages will also start mid-September. As a bonus, registration fees for this group will include their own HCL Jersey to keep! HCL has partnered with SportsWheels to offer our players a 10% discount once registered. This is tracked by email, so we will be uploading our details to Sportswheels as quicky as we can throughout the season. Until that time, they do offer a 5% Friends and Family discount, we encourage our players to support this local business who carries a great selection of ringette gear. A few other Reminders: Intro 2 Ringette is open for Registration for RNS! Register here Intro 2 Ringette is a safe, fun, low-cost, 4-week program that will introduce players age 4-12 years old to the sport of ringette. Each Intro 2 Ringette session is 50 minutes in length and is led by certified instructors who are trained to break down and teach skills to brand new players in a low instructor-to-participant ratio.
